According to ScienceDirect, doctors recently reported an unusual case involving a 20-year-old male who ended up at the emergency room in an odd, embarrassing and maybe unheard-of condition.

The 20-year-old man arrived at the emergency room with all the symptoms of an emergency.
His face is swelling from the agony in his chest, he has extreme shortness of breath, and, wait for it, his elbows and even his chest are making rattling, cracking noises.
He was swiftly transferred to the intensive care unit, where he was given oxygen and painkillers and then sent for a CT scan.

It turns out that this man has what is known as “profound pneumomediastinum”.
This indicates that air has somehow managed to enter the area between his lungs, resulting in a strange response.
Even worse, the doctors could feel strange air bubbles under his skin, which led them to believe that the air had reached his chest, arms, and neck.
Acute asthma, severe exercise, heavy vomiting, and violent coughing are a few examples of things that might cause it.
