Everything That Would Happen To Your Body When You Stop Drinking For A Full Year

This is what will happen to your body if you stop consuming alcohol!

Watch Our Video Of The Week

If you’ve participated in Sober October, you’ve undoubtedly observed some health advantages from abstaining from alcohol for the entire month.

Depending on how much you typically drink, you may have first had withdrawal symptoms, but things will ultimately get better.

You would have improved your sleep, made wiser judgements, and possibly even felt more creatively inspired in a matter of days.

In addition, your bank account will be grateful, and by the end of the month, your liver and kidneys will be functioning better and you will be at a lower risk of having a heart attack or stroke.

All of that sounds fantastic, but what if you decided to stick with the “no alcohol” thing for the entire year in order to take on a new challenge following Sober October?

Given that it has lasted 12 times longer than the first month, everything positive that has occurred will have had an even bigger impact.

According to Drink Surely, in theory, be feeling happier and more energised than before, and others around you should have noticed.

That’s because after you stop drinking, your dopamine levels go back to normal, which means you’ll be happier and not depend on alcohol to make you happy.

Since many alcoholic drinks include a substantial number of calories, you’ll probably also see some weight loss unless you’ve replaced it with extra food.

Your chances of developing heart, liver, or renal illness, as well as several types of cancer, will have significantly decreased in relation to what powers your body.

Better yet, your immunity will have strengthened, so when you do fall ill, it won’t knock you down and your body will be better at fighting it off.

You will be in even better health after a year because your chance of acquiring liver, stomach, breast, oral, ovarian, larynx, pharynx, esophageal, and colorectal cancer begins to decline from month three onward.

Your skin will get healthier in addition to all of those advantages, so you and your loved ones will be able to notice the change.

If you experienced any alcohol withdrawal symptoms, they should almost completely go after a year.

That being said, this does not imply that alcohol addicts’ desires will go away.

After a year, the physical effects of alcohol will mostly disappear, but individuals who are addicted to it will still have desires for alcohol.

Brit Who Had Heart Attack Aged 22 Gives Warning To People Who ‘Get On It Once Or Twice A Week’

Maybe you should think twice before going out out!

After having a heart attack, a Brit advised others who “get on it once or twice a week” of the health risks.

Tom Birchy, a popular TikTok user, revealed to his tens of thousands of fans about his near-death encounter when he was only 22 years old.

He claimed that when he suddenly fell seriously unwell, he had been regularly using d**gs for recreational purposes.

Tom is now on a mission to educate others about the risks of d**g use, two years after his terrifying health scare.

He added that after leaving the UK for a fresh start in Thailand, he has now fully turned his life around.

The internet user used to refer to himself on social media as the “King of Leeds” when he was living it up in the North.

Tom told his followers that he had been employed in the music business at the time and that his daily routine included “pubs, pints, and carrier bags.”

In a recent video, he said: “That’s a weekly or twice weekly occurrence for some people. It was for me when I lived in the UK.

“That was my life – until I had a heart attack aged 22.

“It can literally happen to anyone. If you indulge in that lifestyle, don’t kid yourself and say, ‘Oh well it’s not going to happen to me’. Because it can.”

He explained that one morning, his arms suddenly became ‘numb and tight’, before the sensation spread to his chest.

“I couldn’t sit down, I couldn’t stand up, I couldn’t lie down,” Tom recalled.

The influencer rang an ambulance and was taken to hospital as a precaution, where he then underwent further tests.

“I was waiting in A&E,” Tom said. “Then someone comes running over to me, gets me in a room and sticks something in my stomach and injects me.

“Later that evening, I found out that I had a heart attack aged 22. Fortunately, I was blessed to have no scarring of the heart – that’s what carrier bags cause.”

He claimed that because d**g misuse may have a disastrous effect on your blood flow, heart, and other organs, doctors “knew exactly why he was in there.”

Tom continued: “I’m told that the uptick in men aged 18-30 suffering heart attacks has been staggering.

“And thats down to the carrier bags boys. I was big on it, I was heavy on it and it nearly ruined my life, it nearly killed me.

“Now nearly two years later, my life is so different.

“So if that’s you, once or twice a week getting on it – take this as a warning boys. It could happen to you.”

While sharing their own comparable experiences, his fans praised the TikToker for his brutal honesty in the comment area.

One said: “Top bloke for saying this tbf.”

Another wrote: “I’m never doing it again, been thinking about this so much lately.”

A third added: “Such a good message. Glad you’re alive Tom.”

Someone else chimed in: “I was diagnosed with heart failure at 18 from it. Heart was working at 10 percent.”

Many praised the lad’s ‘character development’ and said they hope he’s ‘much better now’.

Man Completes Gruelling Mission To Drink 2,000 Pints In 200 Days

Would you ever attempt something like this?

A man who set a goal of consuming 2,000 pints in 200 days has finally accomplished the challenge, and it appears that he did so very effortlessly.

See below:

Jon May, TikTok creator, has been posting online drinking logs and measurements for the past 200 days.

Sure, drinking so much alcohol is excessive, but it appears that he did it with a little extra in the tank.

The disclaimer that we do not advise you to take on any challenges similar to this should now be stated.

You should consume alcohol sensibly, and there is a wealth of information available online from sources like Drinkaware.

Anyway, after finishing his challenge and consuming the 2,000th beer at The Market Tavern in Atherstone, Jon sipped from his glass and savoured the wonderful taste of success.

Of course, that will make him happy.

“We might have f**ked up the audio on the 2000th pint, but that’s how we role. We don’t give a f**k,” he said after the big achievement.

He’s also chuffed to have made TikTok creating his full time job, as he told LADbible yesterday: “It’s definitely improved my life, instead of getting up and having to do a normal job, like going to Tesco, I can choose when I work, what hours I work, it also means I can volunteer a lot more and help some worthwhile causes.”

Although Jon acknowledged that he thought about giving up, he is ultimately happy that he was able to accomplish his goal.

He said: “At the beginning, yes [I thought about quitting].

“Currently I’ve got about 108,000 followers because of it, so I’ve got people telling me ‘When is the video, when is the video?’

“So, that helps.

“But at the beginning, I didn’t have that so there was a point of like ‘is this really worth it?’

“Has it been worth it – yeah, it has been worth it, definitely.

“I’ve helped quite a lot of pubs [too].”

Most notably, The Market Tavern has agreed to sponsor his last-ditch effort to cross the finish line, so he most definitely has.

After this superhuman effort, you’d think he might be prepared for a protracted period of sobriety, but that can wait.

Jon told LADbible: “I’m going to the Joshua [Buatsi] fight on Saturday, so I won’t be off the beers then, but the Sunday I will be. I’ll have like a week off.

“But then I’ll be back at it, I’m going to do every city in the UK afterwards.

“I’m going to travel to all of these cities and start reviewing some of the pubs and the area, stuff like that.”

Hopefully, he’ll be able to captivate the public’s interest like he did with this enormous project.

I’m hoping whatever he decides will be less taxing on his liver.

UK’s First Alcohol-Free Pub Receives Incredible Reviews From Beer Fanatics

Would you visit this alcohol free pub?

Step inside Dry Dock in Weymouth, and you’ll be greeted with the lively atmosphere of a traditional pub, complete with a dartboard, pool table, and a jukebox. But there’s one key difference – this pub doesn’t serve alcohol. Instead, it’s a haven for those seeking a booze-free, fun-filled evening.

The brainchild of Sam Watson, a recovering alcoholic who struggled to find a nighttime spot that didn’t involve alcohol, Dry Dock is more than just a pub. It’s a lifeline for the community, offering a warm and inviting space where people can gather, socialize, and enjoy themselves without the pressure to drink.

Since its grand opening just last month, Dry Dock has become the talk of the town. Mr. Watson can’t contain his excitement, describing the support from the community as nothing short of “phenomenal and amazing.” And he’s absolutely right!

Dry Dock, ingeniously set up in a former optician’s office, operates as a community interest company. Its mission? To extend a helping hand to those grappling with loneliness, addiction, and mental health challenges. It’s not just a pub; it’s a lifeline.

“We are really making a go of it,” Mr. Watson beams, “We’ve put together a really positive plan of events over the next few weeks running up to Christmas, so that we can hopefully keep building that momentum moving forward.”

And the patrons couldn’t agree more. Denise, one of the happy customers, shares her thoughts: “There is still that expectation that when you are sitting in a bar you should be drinking alcohol, when the reality is a lot of people can’t drink or don’t want to. So it’s really nice to come here and not have that unnecessary pressure.”

Dry Dock is more than a pub; it’s a testament to the power of community, resilience, and a commitment to making everyone feel welcome. So, if you’re looking for a great time without the hangover, Dry Dock is the place to be. Cheers to a phenomenal Dry Dock experience!

Kim Kardashian’s 5 Very Strict Rules For Guests In Her Home

Would you take a visit to the Kardashian home?

Welcome to the fabulous world of Kim Kardashian, the reality TV sensation turned mega-rich businesswoman! Kim lives in a jaw-dropping, all-white mansion nestled in the posh Hidden Hills of Los Angeles. But hold your horses, because if you ever score an invite to her palace, you better follow a set of house rules that would make even the most glamorous guests do a double-take.

Kim Kardashian Says People ‘Didn’t Know’ Who Marilyn Monroe Was Before She Wore Her Dress

First things first, you need to understand that Kim K is not your average homeowner. With a net worth soaring at a staggering $1.7 billion, she knows a thing or two about investing in luxury real estate. In 2014, she and her then-husband, rapper Kanye West, dropped a cool $20 million on their LA pad. Fast forward, and that investment has skyrocketed to $60 million!

Now, let’s step inside her pristine palace, where “minimal” is the name of the game. Kim wants her sanctuary to be an oasis of calm in a chaotic world. It’s so white, you’ll feel like you’re in a cloud. The queen of reality TV told Vogue that she craves tranquility when she returns home. So, expect a calming experience.

But here’s the fun part – the house rules!

Rule number one: Don’t you dare get that white furniture dirty! Kim’s “favorite room in the house” is an all-white living room, adorned with a colossal circular sofa and over 20 cushions. If you thought spilling a drink at a friend’s house was bad, imagine spilling it here!

Rule number two: No photos allowed inside the house. Not even the Keeping Up With the Kardashians camera crew could break this rule. Kim knows that some moments are just too precious to be shared with the world.

Rule number three: Phones are a no-no at the dinner table. Kim’s all about family time, and she’s not afraid to take your phone hostage until the morning. She even does it to her own kids, but hey, it’s all about teaching priorities, right?

Rule number four: You’ll have to sign an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) before you even think about talking about what happens in her mansion. What happens in Kim’s house stays in Kim’s house!

Rule number five: Keep those flashy jewels hidden. After a terrifying robbery in 2016, Kim’s not taking any chances. No showing off expensive bling here!

So there you have it, folks. Kim Kardashian’s house, where luxury meets rules and tranquility. If you ever get the golden ticket to visit, just remember to keep it clean, keep it quiet, and keep those phones away from the dinner table. Welcome to the high life!
