The latest important tip from the viral dermatologist known as ‘The Derm Doctor’ is to “think twice” before kissing a man with facial hair, ESPECIALLY if you don’t know their hygiene regimen.

Beards and facial hair “contain a lot of germs” that can be spread during close contact, according to the Derm Doctor himself Muneeb Shah who has 17.8 million followers on TikTok.
From his TikTok video he says, “When you rub up against them, they leave small microscopic scratches in the skin that can cause illnesses like impetigo.”

Then, in an effort to address the issue at its root, he begged men to “clean their beards.”
His warning was inspired by a young woman’s shocking film of a rash.
The woman posted the video with the comment, ‘Kisses a guy with facial hair thinking it was a good idea at the time’

She then displayed images of her red, scratched-up chin growing infected over a period of days until it was covered in irritated welts.
We’re really hoping that she’s managed to get some ointment for the painful looking sores… but it has left us feeling itchy all other! We’ll think twice before kissing the man of our dreams…or least make sure he’s washed beforehand!
