Two weeks after her “unrecognisable” appearance at the Grammy Awards, Madonna has FINALLY disclosed that she surgery in a new Twitter post.
‘Look how cute i am now that swelling from surgery has gone down. Lol,’ she captioned with a laughing face emoji.
She remained ambiguous regarding the specifics of her surgery, including the date of it but it finally confirms what many of us have known since her Grammy appearance.
Fans and media personalities mocked the 64-year-old popstar earlier this month when she presented at the Grammys and flaunted her sculpted cheeks, flawless face, and full pout.
She responded to the criticism following her performance in a lengthy Instagram post denouncing “ageism and misogyny.”

According to Madonna, her face was misrepresented and appeared rounder and puffier than it actually was due to a “closeup” taken with a “long lens camera.”
“Once again I am caught in the glare of ageism and misogyny That permeates the world we live in,” she added after diagnosing the issue.
Often described as ‘The Queen of Pop’ Madonna has undergone many transformations in her career from starting as an 80’s pop icon and selling over 300 million records with hits such as ‘Holiday’, ‘Like a Virgin’ and ‘Vogue’ to name a few.

While many have praised Madonna for having control over how she looks and her free will to have surgery if she chooses it has led many to wonder if she’s taken it a step too far.
