A woman who reportedly has the “largest cheeks in the world” released a photo of herself before surgery, and it is safe to say that she looks remarkably different now.
Anastasia Pokreshchuk, a Ukrainian model, has spent more than £3,000 (£2,500) on facial fillers and Botox over a long period of time to acquire her appearance.
The model shared some before-surgery photos on her Instagram page and regularly updated followers on her progress with her appearance.
In a recent post accompanying a picture of her younger self, Pokreshchuk said: “Honestly, I don’t understand people who say I looked better before”.
Fans’ reactions to the photos have been divided, with one writing, “You were so gorgeous before.”
She was described as someone who “would not recognise” her younger self.
But a further said: “A small girl grew up to be a strong, intelligent, and attractive lady. Good work.”
Pokreshchuk frequently follows procedures to keep her title, and she has even shown her fans video of her following them.
She recorded herself injecting fluids into her lower jaw earlier this year, while the model displayed clear signs of agony.
Pokreshchuk has acknowledged in the past that some of the operations she does, like self-injecting filler, are risky, but she ‘loves’ having them and won’t be quitting any time soon.
She earlier stated: “I fell in love with my cheeks after the injections when I observed the changes. I am aware that they appear odd to others, but I don’t mind.
The model has also discussed how her costly cosmetic procedure has boosted her confidence, claiming that in the past she wouldn’t have shared photos of herself on social media.
“I was embarrassed of my voice and my appearance. She said, “It was really difficult work.
“I think I was ugly before. My mum thinks that I was naturally beautiful before, but now thinks I look more exotic and my friends say my new appearance is better because before I looked like a grey mouse.
“I’ve had people tell me I am an ugly b**** and that I should kill myself but when I see it I just laugh it off and ignore it.”
Like Pokreshchuk said, she has received a lot of criticism since she started posting her journey on social media, but that doesn’t seem to be stopping her.
