OMG, can you believe it, guys? The trailer for My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 is finally here, and it looks like it’s going to be a wild ride! The trailer dropped on Focus Pictures’ official YouTube channel on Thursday morning, and we’ve already watched it about a million times.
So, what’s the deal with this movie, you ask? Well, it looks like we’re going to be following the Portokalos family as they head to Greece for a family reunion. Unfortunately, one key member of the cast won’t be joining them – Michael Constantine, who played Gus Portakalos in the first two films, passed away last year.
But don’t worry, we’ve still got plenty of our favorite characters to look forward to! Nia Vardalos is back as Toula Portakalos, and she’s also the star, writer, and director of the film. She kicks off the trailer by saying “a lot has happened since my big fat Greek wedding,” and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for her.

We also get to see Louis Mandylor as Nick Portakalos, Andrea Martin as Thiea Voula, and Elena Kampouris as Toula’s daughter Paris. And keep your eyes peeled for Elias Kacavas as Paris’s potential love interest, Aristotle – he’s looking like a total snack, if you ask us!
The trailer is chock-full of hilarious moments, like when the family is offered souvlaki on the plane and Nick asks if anyone by the name of Sue Vlaki is on board. Or when Thiea reveals that Paris ghosted Aristotle after an amazing date – awkward! And don’t even get us started on the family’s long-lost cousin, who describes herself as “related through your pappou’s pappou, who was married to your great-yiayia’s sister’s sister-in-law.”
There’s also plenty of drama and heartwarming moments to look forward to, as the family tries to reconnect with their roots and honor Toula’s father’s last wish. And of course, there’s lots of dancing, drinking, and general Greek shenanigans to enjoy.

If you’re a fan of the series, you’ll know that the first film came out way back in 2002 and was a massive hit. The second film was released in 2016 and didn’t do so well with critics, but still managed to make some serious bank at the box office.
My Big Fat Greek Wedding also spawned a short-lived TV show called My Big Fat Greek Life, which aired in 2003. But now, it looks like the gang is back together for one more adventure!
My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 is set to hit theaters on September 3, so mark your calendars and get ready for some family fun. We can’t wait to see what hijinks the Portokalos clan gets up to this time around!
