Family Guy has a history of making fun of celebrities worldwide for their inane little lines.

Now, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are the targets of the long-running cartoon television series.

The pivotal event occurred in “A Stache from the Past,” the third episode of season 22.

A synopsis of the instalment states: “Peter Griffin is swayed by a commercial from Tom Selleck, convincing him to sign up for a reverse mortgage and get more spending money, but while it does get him the toy, it runs the risk of the Griffins losing their house.”

Following Mayor Wild West’s explanation of reverse mortgages to the Griffin family patriarch, Peter embarks on a quest to find Selleck and hold him accountable for his actions.

Rejecting Peter’s invitation to accompany him, the mayor declares he will “go it alone, just like Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.”

The next scene on TV shows Harry and Meghan lounging by their opulent swimming pool in their residence in the United States.

Their’millions from Netflix for no one knows what’ has arrived, a butler approaches them and informs them.

“Put it with the rest of them,” the Prince adds with an extremely phoney accent.

Meghan then tells her husband that it was time to do their ‘daily $250,000 sponsored Instagram post’.

Harry replies: “I shouldn’t have left the made-up nonsense.”

People thought the burn was ruthless.

One viewer said: “I wish Family Guy will make a much longer video parody about their hypocrisy.”

Another added: “For any competent Hollywood gag writer, these two are comic gold, there for the taking. ‘The jokes just write themselves’.”

A third brutally wrote: “It’s too late for them to turn around their image. They are getting what they deserve!”

The royal couple has previously been made fun of by an animated television programme.

South Park ripped into them earlier this year.

The episode centred on a couple’s ‘Worldwide Privacy Tour’ that addressed Harry and Meghan’s desire to be left alone by the media while also courting as much attention as possible,

Its description reads: “The prince of Canada and his wife try to find privacy and seclusion in a small mountain town.”

In a clip from the episode, Kyle and Stan can be seen discussing ‘Harry and Meghan’ in their cafeteria, both becoming increasingly irate by the global obsession with them.

Kyle says: “It seriously is driving me crazy. I’m sick of hearing about them but I can’t get away from them!

“They’re everywhere. In my f****ing face.”

To which Stan replies: “Look, Kyle, we just kind of don’t care about some dumb prince and his stupid wife.”

Another clip also shows the prince and princess sitting down for a tell-all interview about their lives and the prince’s new book is titled ‘Waaagh’.
