The creators behind ‘The Making of Harry Potter‘ in Leavesden, Watford have announced that the second location of their behind the scenes attraction will be opening in Tokyo, Japan this summer!

HARRY POTTER FILMING LOCATIONS TO VISIT ON A UK ROAD TRIP

The Making of Harry Potter Studio Tour at Tokyo will open its doors to the public on Friday, June 16, 2023 and tickets will go on sale on March 22, 2023 at 14:00 JST.

Visitors to the new walking tour will be taken behind-the-scenes of the Fantastic Beasts and Harry Potter movies into the amazing world of film production.

This brand-new Studio Tour in Japan will allow fans to enter classic locations like the Great Hall at Hogwarts, Diagon Alley, and the Forbidden Forest where they can view gorgeous costumes, interact with magical animals up close, and discover filming techniques.

THE OFFICIAL HARRY POTTER FLAGSHIP STORE OPENS IN NYC

Fans can participate in a variety of exciting activities, such as riding a broomstick, sipping a cool Butterbeer in the new backlot, posing for a moving portrait in a Hogwarts hallway, joining the crowd at a Quidditch match, and shopping from a wide selection of goods, many of which are exclusive to Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo and can’t be bought anywhere else!

The largest Harry Potter store in the world, with 14 themed areas that are furnished with more than 7,000 custom-made and specially procured props, will also be located on the Studio Tour.
The spaces have been exquisitely designed, drawing inspiration from Honeydukes, Ollivanders, Flourish and Blotts, among other stores found within Diagon Alley.

There will be a vast selection of magical merchandise available for purchase, many of which were created just for Warner Bros. Studio Tour, Tokyo and visitors can also select from a variety of cafes and restaurants that will serve typical British fare like fish and chips, roast beef, English breakfast, and afternoon tea.

The Hogwarts Train on Platform 9 3/4 was unveiled as the first of several magical film sets at Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo to commemorate the event. Visitors to the Studio Tour, like those who visit the Warner Brothers Leavesden location, will be able to experience the same activities that Hogwarts students did on their way to the school and understand how they might have felt.

HOGWARTS LEGACY 2 IS IN THE WORKS BY WARNER BROTHERS

The Hogwarts Express, a genuine British steam locomotive built in 1929 and known as The Dumbleton Hall, is housed in the Platform 9 3/4 set, which was produced by the original Harry Potter filmmakers using realistic techniques. The tour locomotive was restored in England before being transferred to Japan to occupy its location at the Studio Tour.
