Woman Who Asked God To Make Her Allergic To Her Boyfriend Rushed To Hospital

A woman says she prayed to God to make her allergic to her partner, and she feels that God granted her wish since she was immediately taken to the hospital.

It is undoubtedly one method to end a relationship.

Zakiya Ivey, the woman in question, decided to ask the Almighty for a few clarifications after questioning whether her month-long romance was working out.

The 24-year-old prayed the Holy Spirit to grant her a “non-lethal allergic reaction” to her lover as a sign that the two aren’t meant to be together when she sent her prayers upstairs on April 8 of this year.

She asked for this sign on their next meeting, and sure enough, that’s the feedback she got.

After picking her boyfriend up in the car to go to the gym with a couple of friends, her face started to swell up just 20 minutes into the session.

Her skin and eyes were on fire, so her buddy had to transport her to the Franciscan Health Centre in Illinois, which was the closest hospital.

She claims that after being released from the hospital a few hours later, she understood “exactly what she had to do,” which led her to believe that her prayers were being “answered.”

She broke up with the guy a week later.

She now claims that before starting any new relationships, she will pray to God.

I prayed in my brain, the Chicagoan remarked. I never actually said it aloud.

“I prayed and asked the Lord to give me a non-lethal allergic response the next time I’m with this man if he’s not right for me and if you don’t want me to be with him.

“Two or three days after this was the next time I was with him.

“I met up with him in the morning to go to the gym. I picked him up and we rode in my car to the gym.

“We met a couple of friends there. We started doing our workouts and everything was fine in my body, I wasn’t feeling anything coming on.

“For a good 10 or 20 minutes I was perfectly fine. Then I started to itch, and that’s when I knew I was about to start having an allergic reaction.

“I was scratching, I was rubbing my eyes. My friend told me my eyes were puffing up and I thought ‘no way’.

“At that point, my prayer was being answered. I was shocked.

“The hospital weren’t able to find a cause, they said I’d have to go to an allergist.”

So, what was so bad about this bloke that the Holy Spirit decided to intervene?

Zakiya explained: “The relationship wasn’t fulfilling, we didn’t go on dates. We’d hang out at the house.

“We met through a mutual friend who gave him my number and he gave me a call.

“I had to always ask to go on dates. From the jump it wasn’t right.

“When the allergic reaction happened, I knew exactly what I had to do, but I didn’t want to do it.

“It took me like a week to break up with him. I thought he could possibly change or that maybe it was a fluke.

“We didn’t share the same values, I don’t think we were on the same page. It felt like I was more interested in the relationship than he was.

“I told my friends and my mom, I told all my family.

“They were like ‘Dang, Kiya, that’s God right there, that’s your answer’.

“They thought it was crazy. It’s so specific, it is a bit crazy.”

It certainly is.
