Since its release in 2014, The Sims 4 has maintained a sizable fan base thanks in part to Electronic Arts’ (EA) ongoing release of downloadable content packs.

In a tweet, EA announced the information, and a special stream was streamed on both its YouTube and Twitch feeds.

The Sims has been around for eight years, yet because to its Downloadable Content Packs, it still attracts new players (DLC).

These consist of several features like Sims 4: Discover University, a Sims 4: City Living pack, and a Sims 4: Get Famous pack, among others.

On social media, the news has been discussed by followers of the well-known game franchise.

Since its debut in 2000, the Sims brand has sold more than 200 million copies, making it one of the most lucrative gaming assets ever.

The Sims, The Sims 2, The Sims 3, and The Sims 4 are the four primary games, but there are innumerable spinoffs as well.

These include MySims, Sims City, Sims Freeplay, and The Sims Medieval.

The game allows players to spend hours crafting the ideal character, making sure they either look the most like themselves or create the most absurd character imaginable.

The Sims then gives you pretty much unlimited storytelling options.

A new game has long been requested, therefore fans are also hopeful that EA will reveal The Sims 5 during its live webcast tomorrow.

One fan who observed this tweeted, “That’s suspicious… maybe they will actually announce something Sims 5 related.”

On October 18, The Sims 4 will be free to download for computers, Macs, and gaming consoles.
