Tammy Slaton, who weighed 1,000 pounds before showing off her amazing weight loss, is no longer recognisable.
Slaton, 36, co-stars with her sister Amy in the well-liked TLC reality programme. It follows the siblings as they reveal details about their personal lives and weight loss adventures.
Following the release of the season four trailer, viewers lately expressed concern about Slaton’s health.
However, things appear to be improving based on the TV personality’s most recent TikTok videos.
On December 26, Slaton posted a video to the social media site in which she can be seen lip-syncing to the holiday song “Where Are You Christmas.”
“I know Christmas is over but I thought this was funny/cute,” the post reads.
Since the post was uploaded, many of followers have applauded Slaton for losing so much weight in the comments section.
“Tammy you’re looking great!” gushed one user.
Another added: “You’re looking fantastic Tammy. Hope you enjoyed the holidays.”
While a third wrote: “So happy for you, we’re all rooting for you!!”
“You look so happy and healthy I hope you had an awesome Christmas,” a fourth commented.
“Hope you had a great Christmas,” someone else said. “You look great.”
Following the events of season three, Slaton’s admirers were deeply worried for her.
While at the time, the 36-year-old was in a weight loss centre, it showed her being brought to the hospital.
When Slaton suddenly stopped breathing and had to be put on a ventilator, viewers were left in shock.
Slaton had a tracheotomy while he was in the hospital. This is a medical operation in which surgeons cut a hole in the front of the neck and insert a breathing tube into the trachea (windpipe).
Slaton’s sister Amy told cameras in the episode: “They’re [the doctors] just telling us that her lungs have given up and like her body is shutting down.
“So at this point, we’re facing making funeral arrangements for my little sister… She’s been in such a bad place for so long.
“She waited too long. And now that she has the courage to step out and get the help that she needs, now this.”
Slaton raised more questions when her TikTok account was disabled after being taken to the hospital, according to Daily Mail.
She had been sharing pictures of her weight loss journey on social media as she received care at the rehab facility.
However, as soon as she was taken to the hospital, her TikTok page apparently displayed an incorrect message.
Fans of 1000-lb Sisters are also excited to learn more about Slaton’s love life in season four.
The reality TV personality recently revealed that she had wed Caleb Willingham, 39, in a private ceremony with close relatives and friends.
The pair initially met while seeking treatment at the Windsor Lane Rehabilitation Center in Ohio, which is also where the wedding was held.
