A house recently listed for sale in the US has left people perplexed when a video of it was uploaded on social media and people started calling it a “skinny” house.
The TikTok user @eli.korn_ recently gave a tour of a house that is for sale in Illinois. Due to its incredibly small layout, it isn’t exactly your typical home.
The young man recorded a video of himself on TikTok while standing outside the eerily thin house to demonstrate the peculiar nature of its design.
People have expressed confusion about how the house, which has received over 360,000 likes on YouTube, can be useful given it is so “skinny.”
One person commented on the post: “This has deeply upset me.”
Another wrote: “That’s not a house, that’s a hallway.”
Whilst a third asked: “How does someone live there?”
The mansion, which is officially known as the “Pie House,” is larger than it first appears. In essence, while one side of the home seems to be narrow, as you get to the other side, it progressively becomes wider.
The house is currently on the market for $269,000 (£206,232), and the local estate agent claims that it has started to gain some local notoriety.
The commercial reads:
