A large group getaway at a movie-themed, award-winning vintage sanctuary on Brighton seashore, replete with teacup seats and fanciful décor!

You might very well spend the entirety of your stay at Wonderland House walking about in awe because every room is so marvellously imbued with fairytale enchantment.

The award-winning refuge is a stately Regency home that is well situated by Brighton’s relaxed, busy seaside and shops. It also boasts six imaginative, distinctively named, and styled bedrooms that are liberally distributed across five storeys.

This location, which can accommodate groups of up to 24 guests, is perfect for eccentric family gatherings or joyful occasions that call for a little something different.

The glittering Mirror Mirror Room, with its opulent “boudoir” vibe that’s a must for fashionable types, is one of the bedrooms that sleeps two or three visitors.

Or how about Alice’s Room, which has a charming wall of gazing glasses and an antique French double bed with a lovely lace canopy? The playing card-adorned, silver and gold lounge has space for three extra guests if necessary.

However, there are two enormous bedrooms with sea views that each sleep up to six people for those who don’t mind sharing. The Queen of Hearts Room has jewelled wallpaper and a custom “playing card” bunkbed with hatboxes serving as steps, while the art deco Flamingo Dreams Room is decorated with upside-down “croquet

With a chequerboard floor, plenty of vintage china, an enchanted table (because it is! ), teacup seats (yes, really! ), a silver-backed armchair for the guest of honour, or whoever claims it first, and even a TV with a built-in DVD player for when you aren’t staring at the sea from the bay window.

(Or why not go all out and have your group’s Mad Hatter’s Tea Party catered, complete with plenty of themed treats and no dishes to wash up afterward?)

Yes, you could venture outside and discover all that Brighton has to offer. Or you may choose to remain in Wonderland, where thankfully tea time is always an option!

Things to consider
