Residents of a once-sleepy Lincolnshire village are now buzzing with anticipation as Britain’s biggest swingers festival takes over their charming hamlet. Aerial shots reveal a thousand revelers have descended upon Allington, near Grantham, for the epic four-day sex and fetish event known as Swingathon.

The festival, which kicked off yesterday, has some locals fuming as they brace for the raucous nights ahead. Previous years’ events have drawn noise complaints, with one irate resident lamenting, “It’s not the sounds you want to hear when you’re trying to sleep.”

Swingathon 2024 promises to be the most sensational yet, featuring tantalizing attractions like play tents, pole dancing, hot tubs, foam parties, mobile dungeons, and even butt-plug bingo. Despite some grumbles, not everyone in Allington is against the risqué festivities. One supportive villager posted on social media, “If everyone attending is up for it, there’s no problem. Let them enjoy what they want to do!”

Guests have shelled out up to £265 for tickets, which include access to showers and an electric hookup. Attendance has surged from 500 to 1,000 in just a year, with organizers touting the event as “bigger, bolder, better.”

Despite objections last year from the South Kesteven District Council licensing committee and Lincolnshire Police, who were concerned about public safety and preventing crime and disorder, Swingathon was granted a temporary events notice (TEN) this year. Organizers report a smoother relationship with authorities this time around. Co-organizer Matthew Cole expressed relief, saying, “It’s nice to have their support this year… We have sold more tickets than ever, and having the council on our side as well, it could not be going any better than I wanted.”

Adding to the excitement, Swingathon is incorporating another raunchy festival, FetFest, aimed at fetish enthusiasts. FetFest will feature BDSM and sex toy stalls, bookable private play areas, and even a whip-throwing zone. The entertainment lineup includes bands, DJs, dancers, comedy acts, drag and burlesque performances, sensual massages, and a Naked Attraction-style competition.

Social media is already buzzing with photos from the event, showcasing stalls stocked with bondage gear and spanking paddles. Organizer Kerry Voellner emphasized the inclusive atmosphere, saying, “The event offers a very social and safe space for people from different lifestyles to meet new people. This year it’s bigger, better, and bolder. There will be fire breathers, pole dancers, acrobats, and much more. We have a huge LGBT space and a variety of workshops, catering to a broader demographic of alternative lifestyles.”

With the village of Allington described on its community website as “a charming village situated on the edge of the beautiful Vale of Belvoir” with a “lively and welcoming” community, Swingathon and FetFest are set to transform this quaint locale into the epicenter of alternative lifestyle celebrations.
