The closure of at least 10 attractions in the Frontierland, Adventureland, and Liberty Square sectors was brought on by the discovery of a wild bear inside the park on Monday morning, according to EW. According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, officials with the FWC Law Enforcement Division and biologists with the Bear Management Programme are “working on capturing and relocating the bear,” which they believe was likely roaming the park in search of food.

The Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and the train ride that circuits the entire park with a stop on the west end of the park were among the rides and experiences that were impacted, according to the My Disney Experience app.

In order to learn more, EW has contacted a resort representative.

After a squirrel rode the Magic Kingdom’s venerable Carousel of Progress ride in July, the bear’s appearance this month marks the second unwanted animal to crash the park this year.

A new roller coaster inspired on the Tron movie series just debuted somewhere in Magic Kingdom. Imagineer Chris Beatty hinted at upcoming upgrades in an interview with EW related to the attraction when asked about concept art for a villains-themed area to be displayed at the 2022 D23 event.

“[The villains concept] got pretty good applause,” he admits. “We took note of how loud the applause was when we announced that.”
