Carrey has portrayed a number of legendary and bizarre characters throughout the course of his more than forty years in the Hollywood industry with some fan favourite such as The Grinch, the Mask and as Ace Ventura and Egg Man!

But there is one movie that Carrey still has no remorse about. Can you guess what it is?

Carrey originally earned popularity in provocative comedies like Dumb & Dumber and Ace Ventura, where his elastic face and boundless energy won over fans not to mention his delivery of amazing monologues.
Since then, Carrey has acted in films of many kinds, including a number of fantastic rom-coms like Bruce Almighty and has also taken serious roles as well.

He received high appreciation from critics for his performances in the dystopian reality television comedy The Truman Show and the romantic lead part in the classic film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Carrey has accomplished everything in his career, but he claims there is one movie he regrets to this day. The film under discussion? He wishes he hadn’t taken the role of Captain Stars & Stripes from the comic book sequel Kick-Ass 2, in which he played a bat-wielding vigilante.

Unfortunately, just as the film was about to hit theatres, the US saw one of the deadliest mass shootings in its history when a shooter opened fire inside Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, killing 26 people.

Carrey, who later became a fervent supporter of gun control in the wake of the shooting, was clearly affected by the incident, which left many people injured.
Carrey said he would never take a part in his film that required a lot of violence.

During the time Carrey tweeted ‘I did Kick-Ass a month before Sandy Hook and now in all good conscience I cannot support that level of violence. I meant to say my apologies to others involved with the film. I am not ashamed of it but recent events have caused a change in my heart.

It’s sad to see that Carrey regrets the film because of the implications or impact it might have on people’s judgement towards weapons but nice to see he doesn’t regret working with the cast and crew on the film and isn’t ashamed of it.
Carrey has created some of the most popular films in pop culture and we hope he never stops!

And the fun is not only in the features, the Grinch’s cave is available to rent for only $20 (£15) per night – cheaper than most of my camping trips.

Adding up to the camping vibe, the listing warns that the cave is in a remote location, so guests will need to take their own food, drink and other supplies.

In addition, Grinch warned, “I like to be alone. Very, very alone. So I chose a cave that’s intentionally a little hard for visitors to get to. Make sure you have a car that’s at least a crossover or larger for the trail leading up Mount Crumpit. A Mini Cooper will NOT work.”

Guests are also advised that the Grinch’s cave does not have TV or wifi, so they may want to take some things to entertain themselves. Although the Grinch has left his chessboard for visitors.
