Watch Our Video of the Week

Get ready to kick and panda-roll because Kung Fu Panda 4 is on the horizon, and it’s bringing some awesome surprises! Mark your calendars for 2024, folks; that’s when this martial arts masterpiece is set to hit the screens.

Now, Kung Fu Panda fans have been patiently awaiting news about the next adventure since Kung Fu Panda 3 dropped in 2016. We’ve had some cool TV series keeping the fire alive, but a brand-new movie was still under wraps.

Well, the cat (or should we say panda) is officially out of the bag because Kung Fu Panda 4 is a go, and it marks a special moment. It’s the first feature film from this fantastic franchise to be distributed by Universal, following their acquisition of DreamWorks back in 2016.

Since Po’s debut in 2008’s Kung Fu Panda, he’s come a long way. With Kung Fu Panda 2 and 3, Po earned his stripes as the Dragon Warrior and took on the role of teacher and protector of the Valley of Peace.

Along the way, the TV spinoffs and short films enriched the world, but the feature films focused on Po’s journey. So, when it comes to a new Kung Fu Panda movie, you can bet it’s got something exciting in store for Po and his friends!

Now, let’s dive into some fresh scoops about Kung Fu Panda 4. The cast is getting an awesome addition: Awkwafina! She’s been rocking it in Hollywood, starring in hits like Crazy Rich Asians and Shang-Chi. While her character in Kung Fu Panda 4 is still a mystery, we know her signature raspy voice will bring the animated awesomeness to life.

Jack Black himself spilled the Kung Fu Panda 4 tea at CinemaCon, an event where movie insiders gather to share upcoming blockbusters. Even though no footage was shown, Black, with his incredible charisma, acted out some scenes, and the audience was totally sold. \

DreamWorks Animation is playing the long game. They’ve got a grand plan with six Kung Fu Panda installments and it turns out that Kung Fu Panda 3’s questions were left unanswered on purpose because this franchise has always been a six-movie masterpiece in the making!

Jeffrey Katzenberg, chief animator at Dreamworks has, big plans for beloved franchises like Kung Fu Panda, How to Train Your Dragon, and Madagascar. Each movie’s story direction is all mapped out ahead of time, even before the animation process starts. So, rest assured, there’s plenty more panda-flavored action headed our way.

Excitement levels are through the roof as we gear up for Kung Fu Panda 4, and with a six-chapter plan in the works, the panda adventure is far from over. It’s time to sharpen those claws and get ready for some epic Kung Fu fun!

Although it is still in development, the fifth film in the well-known Dreamworks series has faced challenges but the news that Shrek 5 is still in the works will please fans of green, friendly, ogre. The popularity of spin off ‘Puss in Boots: The Last Wish’ has rekindled interest in the Shrek movie series, with the acclaimed spinoff suggesting further journeys in the far-off kingdom. After such a long wait, Shrek 5 may end up being the most thrilling entry in the series that helped establish DreamWorks as a major force in computer-generated animation and could capture the magic from it’s previous films.

One problem the movie could face is that Fiona voice actress Cameron Diaz has apparently retired from acting although is set to star in a new movie ‘Back to Action’ alongside her co-star Jamie Foxx. Being such a pivotal part of the story and the series success she would need to return!

During his interview with Variety, Chris Meledandri made a number of announcements and teasers, including details on Sing 3 and Secret Life of Pets 3. One of those announcements and teases was the creation of Shrek 5. Fans of Eddie Murphy’s favoured Donkey may also find it fascinating that Meledandri implied a donkey spin off movie may happen when he said that the character could carry their own movie “Without question.”

Another fan favourite Puss in Boots has been played by Antonio Banderas since Shrek 2 and has won over fans including with his own spin-off series  and Banderas thinks it’s time for the feline swordsman to return to the main Shrek franchise.

He told Deadline ‘I’ve been with this cat for almost 20 years,” he told Deadline. “The first time I did Puss in Boots, I was working on Broadway, so I did my first session there. I’ve done five movies now. There is probably gonna be another, and [Shrek] is probably coming back’. So it seems he is very much up for a new movie!

A Shrek 5 story and script have been prepared for several years by the author of critically acclaimed comedies like Boss Baby and other Dreamworks films. Michael McCullers said the script remains personal to him and he but considering that the script is currently more than a few years old, modifications will probably be necessary.

Although no release date has been set we are so excited that Shrek 5 is happening behind the scenes and the people that can make it happen want to make it a reality!

We can’t wait to see Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, Puss in Boots and co back in another fantastic and whimsical fairytale adventure and we hope that it’s sooner rather than later so we can return to the swamp!

Dreamworks Water Park In New Jersey Looks Incredible

DreamWorks Water Park includes the world’s largest indoor wave pool and the world’s greatest assortment of water rides, as well as record-breaking rides, luxury cabanas, and an 81°F tropical environment all year. Only 5 minutes from New York City!

The six-story DreamWorks Water Park is located next to Nickelodeon Universe American Dream. DreamWorks Water Park, spanning 8.5 acres, is the largest indoor water park in the United States, according to the mall’s promoters.

There are approximately 15 attractions dedicated to various DreamWorks franchises. A Shrek’s Soggy Swamp-themed section, a Kung Fu Panda-themed children’s play area called the Kung Fu Panda Zone, and a Madagascar-themed tower named Madagascar Rain Forest with 15 water slides are among the attractions. ProSlide Technology, a Canadian firm, created all of the park’s water slides entirely.

Meadowlands Mills was the name given to the American Dream retail complex when it was first proposed in 1994. Construction on the mall, which was later renamed Meadowlands Xanadu, was nearly complete in 2009 when it was halted due to a shortage of funds. In 2011, the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority signed a deal with Triple Five Group, who took over the mall and rebranded it “American Dream.” An amusement park and a water park were added in the amended mall plans. In July 2012, DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg stated that some of the amusement rides would be based after DreamWorks films. In September 2016, Triple Five announced that Nickelodeon Universe would take over the indoor amusement park space, with DreamWorks Animation collaborating on the water park.

There are also 31 luxury cabanas within DreamWorks Water Park. These were built to plans by interior designer Jonathan Adler, a native New Jerseyan. Themed decorations include balloons of Shrek and Donkey from the Shrek movie franchise, and Alex and Marty from the Madagascar movie franchise.. Characters such as Shrek, Puss In Boots, Alex the Lion, King Julien, the Penguins of Madagascar, Po, and Poppy and Branch from Trolls, make daily appearances at the water park!
