Gal Gadot is said to be in talks of reprising her role of Wonder Woman in Warner Brothers DC universe which has recently been taken over by head creative James Gunn.
The actress portrayed the Amazonian superhero in Batman v Superman, Justice League, a sequel that earned mixed reviews, and a very well-received solo movie. She additionally had a brief cameo in Shazam! The Gods’ fury and in the new Flash movie…which also bombed at the box office!

But with Warner Bros employing James Gunn and Peter Safran, this typical world is supposed to be over and done with shortly. Many believed that Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman would also be leaving the cinematic universe however it appears not.
Gadot, however, said in a recent interview that Gunn and Safran informed her of their plans to collaborate on a third film.

In an interview she did with comicbook.com she said ‘I love portraying Wonder Woman. It’s so close to and dear to my heart. From what I heard from James and from Peter is that we’re gonna develop a Wonder Woman 3 together’
According to Deadline, Gunn and Safran actually rejected Patty Jenkins, the director of WB’s Wonder Woman, for the third installment because it didn’t fit with the studio’s new strategy which is to take a brand new direction.
Although it’s unclear precisely when a potential Wonder Woman 3 will be released, Gadot’s teasing has given us new hope that we may see her back as Wonder Woman once again.
