Some viewers have only just realised!

Watch Our Video of the Week!

Despite Wednesday having been out on Netflix for a while – it seems some viewers had no idea that Thing was actually a real person!

And, to be completely honest most people ready did think it was CGI.

These images demonstrated how the outrageous Addams Family character Thing was developed by Netflix and shocked people with the effect not being CGI.

It turns out that the extraordinarily lifelike hand used to create Thing is actually simply an ordinary, aged human hand belonging to a genuine actor!

ANJELICA HUSTON IS SAID TO JOIN THE CAST OF WEDNESDAY 2

The guy who played the character of Thing, Victor Dorobantu, had to wear a vivid blue morph suit that would be removed after filming in order to conceal the remainder of his body.

As a result, while Jenna Ortega, who plays Wednesday, had an actor to contend with, the hand actor spent the most of the time concealed behind a vivid blue morph costume. She is a very talented performer!

Shocked at the realisation one X user posted: ‘It’s been bugging me how they made it and this made me very happy

While a second user A added: ‘That’s his real hand? On that ground? Oh my Lord
