For him to reprise his role as Jack Sparrow in a further Pirates movie and a Disney Plus series, Disney allegedly offered Johnny Depp a contract of USD $301 million!

Remember when Johnny Depp purportedly declared he wouldn’t act in another Pirates of the Caribbean movie? Not even for $300,000,000 and 1,000,000 alpacas? Disney is prepared to put their money where Depp’s mouth is and make him an even better offer, even though it might have just been a joke.

A reliable source close to Disney claims that the Mouse House corporation is putting together an offer that is too excellent to pass up!

“Disney are very interested in patching up their relationship with Johnny Depp. They reached out to the actor prior to his defamation trial against Amber Heard and asked whether he would be interested in returning for another Pirates film or two.

“I know corporate sent him a gift basket with a very heartfelt letter, but I’m unsure how it was received. But what I can tell you is that the studio has already penned up a draft for a film about Jack Sparrow — so they are very hopeful that Johnny will forgive them and return as his iconic character,” the insider alleged.

Disney is apparently willing to go over and above and make an offer of USD$301 million, surpassing the sum Heard’s attorney predicted Depp would reject.

“Is Disney aware that Mr. Depp has stated under oath that he would not take another Pirates of the Caribbean franchise part for $300 million and a million alpacas?” Heard’s attorney, Bredehoft, questioned during the defamation trial. The ludicrous allegations caused laughter across the courtroom. And even powerful Disney execs were paying attention.

Disney is preparing a USD$301 million agreement that will include a sizeable payment to a cause close to Depp’s heart. According to the agreement, Johnny Depp will reprise his role as Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean 6 and a Disney Plus spinoff series portraying the Captain of The Black Pearl’s early years.

It seems as Johnny Depp currently has is eyes set on joining Tim Burton and the cast of Beetlejuice 2 so he maybe busy for the next year or so.

However, Disney are excited and hopeful to be working with 58-year-old actor once again, no matter the project.
