The cast of Beetlejuice 2
Michael Keaton, repeating his role as Beetlejuice, and Winona Ryder, portraying her renowned character Lydia Deetz, are rumoured to be joining Depp’s cast. Tim Burton is also said to be resuming his role as director.
The History Between Depp And Ryder
Winona was engaged to Johnny Depp for three years in the late 1980s and early 1990s, and Ryder has been defending him throughout the trial.
She claims her relationship with Depp was “very different” from what his ex-wife claims she had with him.
“I truly and honestly only know him as a really good man – an incredibly loving, extremely caring guy who was so very protective of me and the people that he loves, and I felt so very, very safe with him. I do not want to call anyone a liar but from my experience of Johnny, it is impossible to believe that such horrific allegations are true. I find it extremely upsetting, knowing him as I do.”
