Despite moving to Spain and using a new name to start a quieter life it seems Amber Heard will once again be in the spotlight of Hollywood with a new horror themed moving coming soon to streaming services.
In the Fire, an anticipated horror film starring Amber Heard, will be released in October. It will be the actress’s first film following her divorce from ex-husband Johnny Depp which featured in many headlines last year.
Her role in the Aquaman sequel, starring Jason Momoa, has been radically reduced after an online petition hit millions of signatures asking for her to be removed from the Warner Brothers movie.
The preview from Rotten tomatoes gave the following preview of the horror movie:
‘Amber Heard stars as a doctor who travels to a remote plantation to treat a young boy who demonstrates unusual abilities. The local priest (Eduardo Noriega), however, believes the boy is possessed and doesn’t believe conventional medicine can help him. This is the first foray into the genre for director and co-writer Conor Allyn, whose best known film to date is the 2021 neo-Western drama No Man’s Land‘
Amber Heard previously defined In the Fire as “a meditation on the almost supernatural powers of love told through the eyes of a strong-willed and independent woman at the turn of the twentieth century,” in an interview with Variety.
Lorenzo McGovern Zaini, Sophie Amber, Luca Calvani, and Yari Gugliucci feature as castmates for Heard in this film ‘In the Fire’ which is expected to hit cinema On Demand and Digital streaming services on Friday, October 13.
