Hannah Montana’s Mitchel Musso Arrested As Mug Shot Is Released

After taking a bag of crisps, Hannah Montana actor Mitchel Musso was detained for public intoxication and larceny.

On Saturday, August 26, the 32-year-old actor who starred with Miley Cyrus in the popular Disney series as Oliver Oken was taken into custody in Texas.

According to TMZ, police were called to a motel where he had taken a bag of crisps, and he was then charged with public intoxication and larceny in Rockwell, his birthplace.

The former child star allegedly refused to pay for the snack when asked to by hotel employees, who claimed he become “verbally abusive” and walked off.

According to the source, police apprehended Musso outside of the hotel and placed him in handcuffs after finding that he was “under the influence”.

The actor’s mugshot was made public and showed him with short hair and a white hoodie.

Following a night in jail, Musso was freed on a $1,000 (£793) bond on Sunday.

The actor, who starred in Hannah Montanna between 2006 and 2011, was previously arrested for driving under the influence in Burbank California in 2011.

Mitchel entered a not guilty plea to the charges and was given a fine, 36 months of unofficial probation, and alcohol education requirements to fulfil.

The actor, who has been in Phineas and Ferb and Pair of Kings, has previously opened up to fans about his struggles with mental illness and weight loss.

Alongside a before-and-after photo, he wrote: “The one on the left I was 119 pounds sick depressed and broken.

“The photo on the right is me today 160 pounds mentally and physically rebuilt stronger than I was before.
