Marvel fans are convinced that Chris Hemsworth’s character in the new Thor: Love and Thunder will be gay thanks to a new trailer.
The God of Thunder can be seen giving Chris Pratt’s character a lingering stare in the nearly 90-second clip, which many on Twitter believe is a clear statement on the character’s sexuality.
Star-Lord AKA Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) and the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy: Nebula (Karen Gillan), Drax The Destroyer (Dave Bautista), Mantis (Pom Klementieff), Groot (Vin Diesel), and Rocket (Vin Diesel) approach Thor in the footage (Bradley Cooper).
Star-Lord tells him: ‘Just look into the eyes of the people that you love.’
While he said this, the half-human, half-alien leader of the Guardians looked back at his crew, as Thor comically lifts his head to be in Star-line Lord’s of sight.
‘Not me,’ says Star-Lord, moving his head with him.
On Tuesday, one admirer on social media declared, ‘THOR’S GAY.’
In an avalanche of tweets, many others celebrated ‘Thor’s gay revelation.’
‘Anyone who claims Thor isn’t homosexual is living in homophobic denial,’ one Twitter user joked, while another yelled, ‘THOR IS GAY!!!!!!!! WE WON’.
