Fans of Elliott Page want him to take over as The Flash from Ezra Miller.
Following a number of complaints, Miller, 30, who presently portrays the DC speedster, has come under fire.
Despite the fact that they are still scheduled to appear in 2023’s The Flash, which will resurrect Michael Keaton as Batman, there have been rumours that Warner Bros. may remove them from its upcoming superhero projects.
After learning of this, fans have suggested candidates to take their position, with one name sticking out above the rest.

The Umbrella Academy star Elliot Page, who has an enormous net worth, is being recommended by fans to take Miller’s place.

“Just want to take this moment to say Elliot Page would make a terrific Barry Allen, in case there’s ever a need to, you know, cast a new Flash, for whatever reason,” tweeted Lissete Lanuza Sáenz, Senior Features Editor at Comic Book Resources.

Since she posted her admission, the tweet has received over 60,000 likes, with the majority of commenters appearing to support her.

One person commented: “Elliot has the perfect comic book look for Flash.”

“This…. this is an amazing casting idea. Elliot Page is the right look, appears the right age, and is a fantastic actor,” added a second fan.

Someone else said: “Elliot Page would f***ing rock as The Flash.”

Another fan added: “Just want to take this moment to say Elliot Page would make a great Barry Allen, in case there’s ever a need to, you know, cast a new Flash, for whatever reason.”

“This is a pretty great casting suggestion,” agreed a fifth person.

Someone else added: “I think it would be an incredibly inspiring image for the trans community if Elliot Page got cast as The Flash.

“He’s a great actor, and has a knack for playing quickwitted characters. His build doesn’t matter in my opinion. We can have a tiny Flash.”

Before starring in Justice League, Miller appeared in cameo roles in Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad before being cast as Barry Allen/The Flash.

Despite receiving a lot of criticism recently and having their firing called for, the lead actor is said to have apologised to Warner Bros for their actions.

As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, it’s been said that: “Miller vowed to seek help after learning that De Luca and Abdy were considering all options for Flash, including scrapping the $200 million movie if things devolved further with Miller.

“While the actor is said to not have minded the stream of bad headlines, they were spooked by the notion of the film getting cancelled and jolted to take action.”

They added that one source said: “They care about The Flash. It’s one of their favourite characters to play.”
