It’s time to brush up on the previous two movies as ‘A Quiet Place 3’ is officially in the works and we couldn’t be more excited!
The fact that its predecessor, A Quiet Place Part II, made a fortune at the US box office shouldn’t be all that shocking as the main star Emily Blunt has continued to make successful film after successful film!

John Krasinski, the director (and former franchise star), already has a few concepts in mind. Though he has yet to disclose them, it is anticipated that the third horror movie would provide a direct continuation of the plot since, as actor Emily Blunt has stated, he has a “whole arc of ideas” for it.

In the meanwhile, Paramount has announced a new film, situated in the A Quiet Place universe, with a March 8, 2024, release date. Lupita Nyong’o, Alex Wolff, Joseph Quinn, and a returning Djimon Hounsou are the stars of the film, which is titled A Quiet Place: Day One. Michael Sarnoski, who also directed Pig, adapted Krasinski’s initial idea for the thriller film.
We now know that A Quiet Place Part III will be released in 2025, which is a long way off but something to look forward to! Krasinski made the announcement during a Paramount investor day, so it must absolutely being taken place after the success of the first two horror instalments!
He also states that he has hidden Easter eggs in both films which tie into the third movie which shows he’s really thought about the series and he has a story that crosses over into more potential movies ‘We even went so far as to put in a couple Easter eggs, so that if I did do a third one, they would connect back to the second one’.
