Starbucks Secret Menu Comes To The UK

vote

I’m sure you’ve seen photos of the extravagant ‘rainbow’ drinks that Starbucks customers in the US order from the secret menu. Your reaction was probably a sigh, thinking about how boring the UK is in comparison. Well have no fear – Junkie is here to give you the best equivalents you can find.

Whilst there’s no official “secret menu” that Starbucks baristas hold the key to, there are some exclusive off-the-menu drinks and alterations you can request to improve your drink.

  1. Pink Drink

The famous ‘Pink Drink’ does not appear on the UK menu anywhere, much to our disappointment. Not only is it incredibly Instagrammable, but it’s also tasty AF. The solution? Ask for a Strawberries & Cream Frappuccino blended with Hibiscus Tea and Coconut Milk. Thank us later.

  1. Butterbeer Frappuccino

Anyone who doesn’t live under a rock will know that butterbeer is the ultimate treat in the Harry Potter universe. Those who have tried it at the Warner Bros Studio Tour or Universal Studios will know that it is just as delicious IRL. If you’re craving the creamy taste of butterbeer, ask for a Cream Based Toffeenut Frappuccino with Caramel Syrup at Starbucks.

  1. Drumstick Squashies Drink

Calling all you Squashie lovers! We recommend you head to Starbucks immediately, and order an Iced White Mocha (with no coffee) and Raspberry Cold Foam on top.

  1. The Mango Solero

An elite ice lolly, equals an elite Starbucks drink. For this one, order a Tropical Mango Smoothie, but swap out the tea for Pouring Cream. You’ll be astonished at what a difference one ingredient can make.

  1. Skittles Frappuccino

Who doesn’t love a sickly sweet treat from time to time? If you want Skittles in liquid form, try a Strawberries and Cream Frappuccino with Vanilla and Raspberry Syrup.

  1. Kinder Bueno Frappuccino

Yep, you heard right, everyone’s favourite chocolate can be imitated within a Starbucks drink. If you have any sense, you’re already in the car, on the way to order a White Chocolate Cream Frappuccino with Hazelnut Syrup and Cookies.

  1. Candy Cane Frappuccino

Whilst it sadly may not look like a Candy Cane, it’ll sure taste like one. Get in a wintery mood with a hint of brain freeze, by ordering a Vanilla Cream Frappuccino with Peppermint Syrup.

  1. Chewbacca Frappuccino

This is an exception, where the drink doesn’t taste like the thing it’s named after – luckily for us. Instead, this item gets its name from the messy, chocolatey appearance it has – something we can definitely get behind. Ask for a Java Chip Frappuccino with Caramel Drizzle, Chocolate Whipped Cream, and Chocolate Cookie Crumbles on top.

  1. Ferrero Rocher Frappuccino

For the more sophisticated Starbucks lovers, get your coffee fix in a delightfully nutty way. Order a Double Chocolatey Chip Frappuccino, with Mocha Syrup and Hazelnut Syrup, plus Whipped Cream.

  1.  The Mint Aero Bubble

If you love mint, and you love chocolate, you’ll love this drink. Simple as that. Get down to Starbucks, and ask for a half portion of an Iced Hot Chocolate, topped up with an Iced Matcha Latte, with Peppermint Syrup.
