Following scientific studies into what makes for the “ideal face,” supermodel Bella Hadid has been named the most attractive woman in the world.
According to the Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi, which gauges physical perfection, the 23-year-old was determined to be 94.35 percent “correct.”
She matched the ideal of Greek beauty the closest in terms of her eyes, brows, nose, lips, chin, jaw, and facial shape.
Beyoncé, a singer, came in second with 92.44 percent, followed by Amber Heard, an actress, in third place with 91.85 percent, and Ariana Grande, a pop musician, in fourth place with 91.81 percent.
Cara Delevingne, 27, the other most successful supermodel in the UK, was ranked tenth with an average rating of 89.99 percent, far behind Kate Moss, 45, the highest rated Briton and in sixth position overall.
How is the Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi measured?
The Beauty Golden Ratio The European Renaissance is where Phi first appeared. The Golden Ratio is an equation that was employed as a tool by architects and artists when creating their masterpieces.
Since then, scientists have modified the equation to explain what makes a person beautiful.
A person’s face is measured for both length and width, and the findings are then split. The ideal outcome, according to the Golden Ratio, is approximately 1.6.
Then measurements are made between the hairline on the top of the forehead and the space between the eyes, between the space between the eyes and the bottom of the nose, and from the bottom of the nose to the bottom of the chin.
If the numbers are equal, someone is thought to be more attractive.
The symmetry and proportion of the face are then discussed. The length of the ear must be equal to the length of the nose, and the breadth of an eye must be equal to the distance between the eyes in order for something to be considered “beautiful” according to the Golden Ratio.
Bella Hadid was the undisputed victor when all facial features were evaluated for physical perfection, according to Dr. De Silva, who oversees the Centre For Advanced Facial Cosmetic And Plastic Surgery in London
She received the best overall rating for her chin, which, at 99.7%, is just 0.3 percent off from having the ideal shape. In terms of where her eyes were placed, Bella came in second place to Scarlett Johansson.
Beyoncé came in second, gaining the greatest percentage for her face’s form (99.6%), as well as very good grades for her eyes, brow, and lips.
“These cutting-edge computer mapping techniques help us unravel some of the puzzles of what exactly defines physical beauty, and the technology is useful when organising patients’ surgeries,” says the researcher. Greek mathematicians developed the Golden Ratio in an effort to quantify beauty.
Leonardo Da Vinci utilised the ratio to represent the ideal male body in his well-known piece, the Vitruvian Man, although it may be used for anything. The idea behind this is that a face or body becomes more lovely the closer its proportions are near the number 1.618 (Phi).
Model of the Year has been chosen twice for Bella Hadid, who started modelling at the age of 16.
Top ten and Dr Julian De Silva explaining why stars are so beautiful and where they were marked down
1. Bella Hadid – 94.35%
Dr De Silva said: ‘Bella Hadid is a worthy winner with stunning facial symmetry and a chin only 0.3% away from perfection.
‘She also came second for her eye positioning. She is one of the new generation of supermodels and could dominate the profession for the next decade with her stunning looks. Her biggest weakness is in the brow area.’
2. Beyoncé – 92.44%
‘Beyoncé looks incredible as she approaches her 40s. She had a new perfect score for her face shape, but was marked down for her eyebrows and chin,’ the surgeon commented.
3. Amber Heard – 91.85%
The beautiful form of Amber’s nose and chin contributes to her high ranking. Her beauty transcends time.
With a stronger face form, Dr. De Silva said, “She would have been higher.”
4. Ariana Grande – 91.81%

On the subject of Kate Moss, he commented: ‘Kate is the highest rated Briton on the list and will be delighted that she is four places higher than our other supermodel, Cara Delevingne.
