The House Targaryen dynasty takes power. On August 21, HBO and HBO Max will begin airing the Game of Thrones prequel, House of the Dragon. The series, which takes place 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, is based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood” and follows the tale of House Targaryen.
